Clean house??

No wonder I can't ever seem to keep my house clean. Yes, that's a piece of cheese stuck to the dishwasher. Why? Cause when you can get the cheese to stick to the dishwasher, you must stick cheese to the dishwasher. It's just another way to show how smart and clever you are!

Wheeler Farm

I asked my mom if she wanted to play yesterday since it was supposed to be sunny and 60 degrees. She suggested going for a walk through Wheeler Farm. Probably the last time I went there was in, what, 9th grade or something when we went country dancing in the barn. Lame, I know. Anyway, the animals were there, the boys behaved, and it was a lot of fun. We'll have to go again. It is soooo nice out. We are definetly ready for the warmer weather around our house.

Early Easter

With Brandt's brother in town we thought we'd celebrate Easter early so his cute family could be there for the festivities. It was a crazy, fun time being together. We got to look for eggs for the first time, play with the bubble machine, and run around with our cousins. Here is a plethera of pictures from the big event. I wasn't that great of a photographer that day so you'll have to deal with what we got.

Typical Charlie "poo-face" (no, that doesn't mean he's taking care of business, it just means he's giving crusties). So, um, Charlie, whatcha got there???I love D's face here, reaching up for the bubbles.I wanted to get a picture of Charlie laughing at the bubbles. This is the best I got. He has a freaky-eye with that bubble covering it. Looks like he is wearing a glass eye. Maybe he is...who knows.Mass-hysteria. Just the best. I think the boys just loved running all around most of all. Who needs anything else besides some cousins, some sunshine, and a pair of shoes to go outside in?

18 Months

We are 18 months! Can you even believe it? We are so big and so fun. We had our check-up last week and our stats are:

Dylan

Weight: 22.9lbs, 10%

Height: 32.5in, 55%

Head: 46.5cm, 16%

Charlie

Weight: 26lbs, 51%

Height: 32in, 40%

Head: 48cm, 56%

When you have 2 18-month-olds it is tough to get a picture with both boys at once. Usually we have one boy crying

or the other boy crying.

And if you're lucky, sometimes you can get a half-way decent picture of them together. So usually it's best to just get single shots. I can seem to get a smiley picture that way. Aren't they cute?

Drum roll please....

It's a boy!!!

For those of you who don't know, we're welcoming a little boy this summer to come join our family. We are thrilled. We are crazy. We are happy. Couldn't ask for more. What a blessing it will be. I am feeling great and the babe is doing well and growing on schedule. I am measuring a little big which I expect. I pray for ONLY an 8lb baby. Brandt and I were both huge babies and I had 12.5lbs of baby in me with the twins so please keep this one little. Thank heaven for little BOYS!!! 3 under 2 - brace yourselves!!!

The Olympiad

So I truly enjoy the winter Olympic games. I think winter sports are so exciting to watch. Many, many years ago I L.O.V.E.D. to go snowboarding and now I take just as much pleasure to watch it on TV. So I'm a big fan of Mr. White. I think he is just amazing on his board and no one can compete with him because he is so freakin good. However, one small issue. Please put your hand over your heart (and keep it there for the entire duration) and stay focused for 1 minute while our National Anthem is played and take it seriously. Are you kidding me? Did you see him goofing off during his award ceremony? Wow, I know you're a boarder and you gotta try to act cool all the time, but really? At the Olympics? Have some pride in America for one minute and show a little respect. That's it, there's my beef. But with that said, heck yeah, bring on the gold!

Miracles do happen

So I have stumbled upon this blog. I have just read through it and have sobbed. Any mother with little ones must read as a reminder to remember the things that are important and to realize the tender mercies our Father in Heaven sends down to us each moment of every day. Wow...I cannot even imagine. I will squeeze my boys a little tighter when they wake up from their naps.
