We are...TROUBLE!!!

My oh my these boys are giving me a run for my money. I knew once the boys learned to walk it would be a whole new ball game but they are exhausting. The other day I swear I was yelling more than talking. I'm not even a "yeller" so what does that tell you??? They were into everything and would not stop. They love to pull everything out of the drawers (multiple times a day) and they've learned to climb up on everything. I think I need to finally make Brandt put the child locks on the drawers. They're such an inconvience but I don't know if I have the patience to continue to search for a tablespoon when I'm making dinner. As for the climbing, I just hope they out-grow it soon. My biggest worry is our table. They've figured out how to climb up the chairs. Our table backs up to our railing in our kitchen and just over the railing is the long stairwell. A HUGE fear of mine is them falling over that if they climb onto the table. They also enjoy climbing up the piano. I need to take everything off the top of it now so it's not so enticing to get up there. Pretty soon there won't be much left in our house. Where is spring so we can go outside and play. Our house is getting pretty lame and the boys have had enough I'm afraid. Bring on some sunshine!!!

Peek-A-Boo

I've always heard people say that the boxes are more fun then the actual present. Proof.
Charlie is a little claustrophobic like his mommy. He would only just barely put his head in and quickly move out. He still thought he was funny though and that it was a great game.

Clever, clever...

This year I am going to try to post once per week. We'll see how it goes. Maybe sometimes it'll be twice in one week if I forget or don't get to it the week prior, but my goal is to have 52 entries by the end of the year. Hmmmm, any bets on how long this one will last?

So my darling little boys have discovered how to pull out the drawers in my kitchen and pull EVERYTHING out. I was making dinner one day and was standing at the stove. I could hear them playing with the drawer and when I turned around, I found this. They are so funny! Good thing the drawer guides we used can hold up to 100 pounds.

Out with the old, in with the new...

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! How is it that it is now 2010? That is officially the first time I have typed or written the new year! Time has flown and we are amazed and the many things that we have been able to enjoy this past year. First and foremost, our little ones, have been the best thing ever. Could they be any better, cuter, funner? I feel so blessed to have such wonderful children. Heck, I feel blessed that I even HAVE children! They are seriously the best. I know I say that all the time, but come on, have you met them? Have you seen them? They're adorable inside and out. Especially right now with them fast asleep. I thought I'd share a couple pictures from our holiday. The first one is from Christmas Eve. We hosted Christmas eve for my family. It was lovely. Dinner was great, company was great, and we all had fun. My parents brought up these two little chairs and my boys thought they were so big sitting in them. Charlie just sat there forever. Dylan didn't last as long but he did sit for awhile. I know the picture is a little fuzzy, but I thought it was cute. The other one is from Christmas morning. Santa brought our boys a present. That's right folks, a present. We figured with all their extended family they would be spoiled enough that we didn't need to go quite all out this year since they don't really get it anyway. They LOVE their present, though, and that warms my heart. It's fun to see them sit down and play together with it.
