Random pictures

Here are some of the latest and greatest from the massive collection of pictures I've created:

Dylan:
Charlie:
Golf anyone??

Brandt is a great imitator. Can you guess who he is trying to be in each picture? He is so funny.
My talented mother made both boys their own blankets. Mom pieced the quilts and her sisters did the actual quilting (since my mom is on a mission and has so little free time). I just love them and think they turned out so beautiful. (notice how HAPPY Charlie was to pose for the picture)

4 months old

We turned 4 months old yesterday. Can you even believe it?!? I just love these two more than anything. They are so much fun! What can I say, I think I am the luckiest mommy ever!!! Here they are on their big day:

Merry Christmas!!

Can you believe that Christmas is over...at least until next year??? We had a great holiday and I think the boys had a good time, too. Here are some favorites from this Christmas:

Aren't we just adorable?

We're growing and getting cuter every day!

You didn't want to see did you?

The other day we were going up to Grandma and Grandpa's house. I had taken Charlie upstairs to put him in his car seat and left Dylan downstairs waiting his turn. I heard some wimpering and when I had gone downstairs I found this.
My aunt made these darling hats for my boys and they aren't quite big enough for them but I haven't bought good winter hats yet so I thought we would make do. Apparently the hat slid down his face. What a good boy to just patiently wait for mom to make it back downstairs to reveal the light.

Wow, I must be tired

So about a month ago I had dressed my boys and was sitting in our family room playing when I realized something was not right. Can you tell what is wrong with this picture?
Those of you familiar with a onesie knows that the flaps go in the front of the shoulders. Hmmm, at least he had clothes on!

Funny outfits

Brandt and I have been lucky enough to have lots of people donate to the "clothes cause" at the Jensen home. I guess people feel sympathy for us having two babies at once so we have been given some outfits from friends. We think some of them are pretty funny so we'll dress the boys up and take pictures (they really are cute...does anything not look cute on little boys?). Here are some of my favorites.

Dylan:
Charlie:

Sucking fingers, binkies, whatever we can find

Before my boys were here I was adamant that my children would not suck their thumbs and binkies ONLY if necessary and for no more than a year. Now that they are here I LOVE their binkies and think it is adorable when they find their fingers or thumbs. Dylan is my finger/thumb sucker but they both think their binkies are the best. Yep...I said it! The tooth-nazi is all for it, who would have guessed?!?

Happy Halloween

I have such cute "Things"! I am the luckiest Mommy around!

Night time vs. Morning

I think it is so funny how it is so hard to be a baby at night when you are supposed to be going to sleep compared to waking up in the morning. This is Charlie going to bed...and first thing this morning. What a kid, I just love him!

Family photos

So we went and had our pictures taken about a month ago. It was quite the ordeal being that my boys were hungry and crying the whole time. We were shoving food in them, taking a few shots, more food, more shots, more food, more shots. By the end of the photo shoot they were so milk drunk they were ok being naked so those were the best. I was really impressed with as many pictures we got where they weren't crying!

Exhausting...

Wow, these kids just tire you out. I just love when my babies are sleeping. They look so peaceful and perfect, not to mention they are not screaming and mommy can get something done. I just read an article last night that says I shouldn't feel guilty for loving the time they are sleeping best. I think my boys are starting to be awake more during the day and it wears me out. I look forward to the time daddy comes home to have some support. With two howling babies you gotta get pretty creative to pick up one baby while holding the other without hurting their neck. It will be great once they have strength to hold up their heads. We had quite the episode this afternoon, but now...fast asleep!

The babies are here!

So it has been one crazy month. I cannot believe that my babies are 1 month old yesterday. They were born on August 26th. That is my grandma's birthday so it is a special day. They had scheduled me to be induced but when I went in that morning, I was already in active labor so they would have arrived that day anyway. My precious babies are:

Dylan Curtis Jensen (born first and totally a "Curtis")
&
Charlie Russell Jensen (totally a "Jensen")

We are so blessed. They are really good boys and so fun. I have no time to do anything besides be at their beck and call but that's ok...they're worth it! Here are some cute pictures of them from their first month.

Baby, baby, baby

Will it ever stop growing??? All I can say is I am done, all baked and ready to be pulled from the oven. It is very cruel when you measure "over due" but still you seem to have weeks to go. Still waiting....

Am I really doing this?

Per the request of many, I may start blogging once the little bambinos arrive. Baby steps...no pun intended.
