So the boys were outside playing with sidewalk chalk. We had a new package of 'sidewalk tattoos' so I helped them rub on their designs. When Charlie was working on coloring his he smeared some of it. So I tried to redraw it but we didn't have the exact shade of hot green. Apparently the right response would be to cry and hit. So made it easy to declare naptime. They got ready for naps and as Charlie was climbing up the bunk I told him that was enough crying and he needed to stop. He responded with, 'but mom I can't help it!'
Then from the bottom bunk I hear, 'hey, that's my line.' You're right D. That is something you'd say. I got a good laugh.
